What Are Binaural Beats?

Binaural beats are auditory brainstem responses which originate in the superior olivary nucleus of each hemisphere. They result from the interaction of two different auditory impulses, originating in opposite ears, below 1000 Hz and which differ in frequency between one and 30 Hz (Oster, 1973).For example, if a pure tone of 400 Hz is presented to the right ear and a pure tone of 410 Hz is presented simultaneously to the left ear, an amplitude modulated standing wave of 10 Hz, the difference between the two tones, is experienced as the two wave forms mesh in and out of phase within the superior olivary nuclei. This binaural beat is not heard in the ordinary sense of the word (the human range of hearing is from 20-20,000 Hz). It is perceived as an auditory beat and theoretically can be used to entrain specific neural rhythms through the frequency-following response (FFR)–the tendency for cortical potentials to entrain to or resonate at the frequency of an external stimulus. Thus, it is theoretically possible to utilize a specific binaural-beat frequency as a consciousness management technique to entrain a specific cortical rhythm.

Is Instant Manifestation Possible?

Instant manifestation may at first glance seem like the “holy grail” of law of attraction devotees… but reality is that you would end up with the curse of Midas if it could be done!

Midas, whose name is now often associated with gold and the “golden touch” was deeply unhappy and in the end killed by his greed.

If we take Biblical stories of miracles literally, then instant manifestation is certainly possible.

The problem for most of us, though, is that the reason we desire something instantly is usually because we’re desperate.

That’s an emotion born of fear and panic – energies guaranteed to keep the object of our desires and us apart.

Another point to realize is this: when something appears in the material world, it does so in “an instant”.

I was privileged to be present at the birth of my two sons, and part of the miracle was that there was suddenly a moment when there was another – and brand new – person in the room.  But of course, there was a nine month prelude to that instant.

It’s the same with most physical things…

They will appear in your reality when just a moment before there was seemingly nothing there!  In all probability, however, there’s been a gestation period of anything from a few hours or days … and for some, almost a lifetime.

Think of the number of performing artistes who jokingly point out that their “overnight success” took twenty years!

Stay focused, clear and trusting, and the instant manifestation of all you desire will show up.  Eventually.

Inner Arguments That Manifest As Struggle

If we’re experiencing any kind of struggle – with manifesting what we want, within our relationships, with our health or our bank accounts – the root cause is usually that we’re actually struggling within ourselves.

Our ego’s need for safety bickers with our Soul’s desire for self-expression. Our conscious mind is fighting with our subconscious belief system. Or maybe our inner wisdom and intuition is battling against a set of adopted values we’ve always upheld.

Here are the three most common inner arguments that we engage in, time and again.

They are not fun.

They do not create abundance.

They can’t be won.

1. I should want what I don’t really want.

We’re bombarded with messages all day long about what we “should” want. A close-knit family. A loving intimate relationship. A fit and active lifestyle. Work-life balance. A vibrant social life. A healthy diet. A six-figure income.

We should want to have it all … right?

But what if you are perfectly happy being single, enjoy the couch instead of the gym, are in love with your work to the point of obsession, and have no intention of ever giving up bacon?

All too often, we create struggle because what we think we “should” want and what actually makes us happy are two very different things.

If there’s a goal you keep struggling with, consider that it might not actually be YOUR goal at all. It might be a goal that you’ve adopted from society, your family, your friends, even your mastermind group.

Maybe you’re just regularly “shoulding” yourself into working out and leading a healthier lifestyle … but the Truth is that you don’t really want to!

Maybe you’re “shoulding” yourself into an automated sales funnel … but the Truth is, you really hate dealing with technology!

You can’t talk yourself into desire. You can try. But it’s not effective. Ever.

In fact, “shoulding” yourself into wanting what you don’t truly want may create so much preoccupation that you miss the boat on your ACTUAL Soul-inspired desires that call you into your true greatness.

2. I want you to want what you don’t really want.

It’s difficult pursuing our fullest potential when our partner, our family, and our friends are not at all interested in our vision.

Time and again, I see entrepreneurs invest huge amounts of time and energy trying to get their spouse “on board” with their big dream.

Visualization Actually Manifest

What is visualization and why is it important to your life? Visualization is the practice in which a person intentionally focuses mental energy on a specific idea, image, or desired outcome for a prescribed amount of time. This is done for the purpose of sending the focused energy out into the quantum field where it can then synchronistically manifest into the life of the visualizer.

How does this work? First let’s start with the physics perspective of a thought. A thought is a frequency, a vibration. It is ultimately a form with structure. The only reason that the average person cannot ‘see’ a thought wave is because it is too fine of a frequency and our range of vision, the perceptual capability of our eyes cannot pick up on it. This does not mean it is not real. A thought is a thing. Pull up the image in your mind’s eye of a plastic sandwich bag. It is translucent, right? When it’s only one bag, you can easily see through it. Ok now in your mind stack a few more plastic bags on top of that one. Still see through? Yes, but getting a little more opaque. Ok now put 5 more,…10 more…100 bags. Is this stack of bags translucent anymore? No. Why? This is because although it is thin and translucent, it does have structure and eventually, when bound together, the density accumulates and forms something more massive. This is a simple way of explaining how thoughts work in our dimensional reality. So, if you are visualizing, and you spend, say, 15minutes really honing in on one thought or idea and you add emotions to it, pictures, sounds, stories, you are literally building density and next thing you know you have created a real thought structure- a blueprint construction in the template reality. Now this part of your visualization practice is complete and you let it go, you send it out in the universe and allow the quantum field to do its work through synchronicity, allowing it to manifest unto you.

Are there problems with this design? Well, no not technically. But practically, there are some issues for many of us. For me personally, to sit down every day and spend 15 minutes focusing my mind on just one thing can be extremely challenging. As many of us, I can at times really struggle with the monkey mind. The programmed incessant thought patterns, the distractions of the physical body, and so on. So the issue I am seeing is that we understand the value and importance of visualization, we desire to consciously steer our lives in the direction of our highest preference and joy, and we understand the mechanics of visualization, but in the reality of everyday life we may find it difficult to slow down, sit down, and tune in on one thing specifically for any amount of time.

I have been beating myself up about this for too long and I have realized that meditation practices are just like education. We are beginning to really understand that the major flaw of the public education system lies in its inability or refusal to cater to the individual needs and abilities of the students. Likewise, if each of us has a unique and different personality, life purpose, energy flow, etc., why would we all force ourselves to prescribe to the same type of meditation? When you think of meditation classically, you traditionally think of sitting in lotus silently and completely still with a blank mind. Yet this is only one type of meditation, it can take a very long time to master, and it may not work for everyone.

With these points in mind I have really been downloading some encouraging and empowering information about meditation and visualization practices that I think can really upgrade and revolutionize your spiritual practice in a way that feels lighter, more natural, more fun, more

spontaneous, and more powerful.

It is of the UTMOST importance that when you are intentionally sending a message or request into the universe, that you FEEL good. Your state of being is the NUMBER ONE ingredient. So if your current style of visualization feels forced, frustrating, or boring, then THAT feeling is the energy you are sending out the universe! Below are some creative suggestions that have appeared to me as options and tools to put in your toolkit. This is not to say that traditional meditation isn’t powerful or that there are not many more possible ways. I hope that these empower you, inspire you, and help you get in the right state of being to vibrate yourself into the most joyful reality.
