How Our Higher-Selves Work

Understanding the nature of our Higher-Selves (aka Oversouls) is essential to living a whole and fulfilling Spiritual life. Each one of us have a higher-self and by being in contact with it, we reach new heights of consciousness. Here’s a detailed explanation of How Our Higher-Selves Work…

We are all branches, extensions and nodes of Oneness. We live in a holographic reality of various level of spheres vibrating, reverberating and communicating at various levels of existence.

Imagine as though God or Source is the trunk of a great tree. We are all branches or root extensions of that tree. Imagine as though we are the skinny twigs on the outer edges of the tree that connects to the leaves. In this analogy, our Oversoul or Higher-Selves are the next larger and broader branches for which we are connected to, that lead us all the way back to the trunk or “Source.” These broader branches tend to have more unadulterated consciousness, information and bandwidth available. Yet the higher-up you climb the consciousness ladder, the higher-vibration and less physical this consciousness.

Here’s an image to help visualize this framework for our Higher-Selves.

Our Higher-Selves can be connected to many embodied aspects of itself. This means we often share Higher-Selves with other people, both in this experience of time and in previous and later experiences of time. Our Higher-Selves are not bound to time like we are, and they experience all incarnations that they are existing in simultaneously. Our Higher-Self is also serving as the conscious server for other Worldly incarnations, existing as other galactic beings and forms of consciousness in our Universe.

When we incarnate on Earth a certain character/archetype/personality of our Higher-Self consciousness chooses to come into a human body, and take on an additional personality program to adapt to Earth and our collective consciousness. This what we traditionally call an ego or personality.

hs

By the way, it’s worth noting our ego isn’t bad. It’s actually 100% essential to our existence and the goal isn’t to kill it off to return to our Higher-Self. It’s to refine it and harmonize it with our Higher-Self, and for us to deprogram and cut away what we don’t need. That’s what is often referred to as an ego-death.

Is our Higher-Selves our Collective Consciousness? Not quite. Our collective consciousness consists of our group personality consciousness on Earth, and a certain level of our Higher-Self consciousness that is rendered into this reality. The entirety of our Higher-Self consciousness is not made available into the collective consciousness, although it can be. This is part of our Spiritual mission on this planet, to bring our Higher-Selves to the forefront of our existence.

Our Higher-Selves are meant to be our best friends and the wise-one over our shoulder who we can always seek solace and an eager listening ear. It’s usually the one you are always seeking when you feel lost. It’s the sense of being watched when you are alone that feels comforting. It’s the one that coats you in tingly unconditional love when you lay down and have a moment after a long day.

The #1 Mistake When Using the Law of Attraction

Maybe you can recall the day you found out that Santa wasn’t real.

The magic was gone forever.

But never mind, because here you are, all grown up, and along comes the law of attraction!

You don’t even have to send a note up the chimney any more; the law of attraction will give you whatever you desire just because you imagine it and believe in it.

Now, relax, it’s okay.  I’m not going to burst another bubble… at least not in the way you might think…

Sure, the law of attraction exists, but it won’t just supply you with all the goodies you can imagine just because you imagine them.

Your imagination is an extremely powerful tool and certainly deserves not to be dismissed as “just your imagination.”  But (as I mentioned in Tuesday’s post) just because you can imagine a Ferrari in your driveway doesn’t mean one’s going to appear.

It’s so easy to believe that the reason the law of attraction hasn’t delivered is because you’re not “an expert visualizer”.  Or that you can’t master the focus required for deep meditation.  Or that you have several negative subconscious beliefs sabotaging your efforts (which, btw is most often the case).

However what I don’t want you to do is to have something to blame – and a reason to give up.  It didn’t work and life goes on.

So let’s start again.  This is the law of attraction, so what are you attracted to?  And what would make you attractive to it?

If you seriously, fervently want to own a Ferrari but you only feel worthy of the beaten up Ford you’ve been patching up for the last ten years, you might notice a mismatch.

Makes sense, right?

So don’t just put up a picture of a Ferrari under a fridge magnet, (or wherever you keep your dream board), start studying the lives, blogs and Facebook pages of Ferrari owners.  How do they carry themselves?

What was their reaction to something stressful in their lives?

Trust me.  They didn’t get happy and positive after that car showed up!  They were attractive to the opportunities and people which opened up the doorways to Ferrari ownership.

So Model them.

Copy their body language – try it on like a new suit.

It may feel a little awkward to begin with, and that’s a clue.  That’s called “dissonance” and is giving you a sense of the gap between where you are and where you want to be.

Ask yourself what would it take to grow into it, to wear it in until it feels comfortable?

That’s how to use your imagination.

Model the success, the lifestyle, whatever it is you want.  Become the person to whom the change you want to see is attractive.

7 Ways To Discover Your Life Purpose

Living a life of purpose is a key essential ingredient for happiness. So many people all over the World are realizing they can’t just work some dead end, unfulfilling job that doesn’t nourish the soul.

We are also realizing we perform our best when we are doing something we like and are naturally good at.  That’s where your life-purpose begins! It feels good to make a contribution and to feel as though you are doing your small personal part to make the World a better place.

Imagine a World where everyone is living their life-purpose – doing what they love. How quickly could things change for the betters?

So here’s a start, 7-Ways to Discover Your Life Purpose:

1) Consider Your Highest-Excitement

So often we can get stuck in the motions of life without stopping to consider what truly fulfills us, makes us happy and excites us to our very core. Take a moment to consider and then towrite down all of the things in life inspiring to you and don’t worry about how it relates to your life purpose for right now…

Once you have done that, take a look at your list. Do you notice any themes or patterns? Living a purposeful life is always multi-faceted, why not be a surf instructor and a life coach? Sounds pretty awesome to me.

I often say, if I’m living my life-purpose I feel like I’m thriving, and if I’m not, I feel like I’m dying. I now know my highest excitement is my internal GPS back to my purpose.

2) Pay Attention to How You Spend your Spare Time

What do you do when no one is watching? And don’t just say Netflix!

Think about how you spend your spare time, and what you gravitate towards when you have extra time on your hands. Is it drawing, writing, making YouTube videos or even watching YouTube videos? Are you a gamer?

Pay attention to these things, as they are all the guide posts and arrows pointing you towards your life purpose. Plenty of people are here to create art, inspiring media or support other people in simple yet humble ways.

The healthy things you are inclined to do are either going to be part of your life-purpose or compliments to it.

3) Consider What You Loved to Do as a Kid

Children are so wise and do all sorts of intelligent, unassuming things. When you were a kid I bet there were a number of fun activities you loved doing. As kid…

– How did you play & what kind of toys did you play with?

– Who did you like to hang out with?

– What field trips were your favorite?

– What kind of toys did you like to play with?

– What were your favorite things to do?

Revisiting your childhood is one of the best routes to discover your life purpose. Many secrets live in our 5 year old’s curious experience of the World.

4)  Ask for Guidance in Your Dream

This is an often overlooked and powerful tool when you are seeking guidance of any kind. But specifically in regard to your life purpose, set a little intention before bedtime.

Something like: “Dear Dream Guides, I ask that you reveal and guide me to my life purpose in my dreams tonight.”

When you wake up, make sure to remember your insights and write them down! This is a very powerful tool.

22 Shockingly Beautiful Places That Are Hard To Believe Really Exist

Our world is so full of wonders that new and amazing places are discovered every day,

be that by professional photographers or amateurs. Different geographical locations, climatic

conditions and even seasons offer the widest variety of natural wonders: pink lakes, stunning

lavender or tulip fields, breath-taking canyons and mountains, and other places you can hardly

believe actually exist!

Some of the pictures in this collection will be of all natural sights you can find while traveling

around the world, while the others have experienced human interference – but even in these cases,

the result of such collaboration is spectacular. The Japanese learned how to tame thousands of orchids

and form a romantic tunnel out of them; another one was formed all the way in Ukraine by a passing train;

and what eventually ends up as hot tea in our mugs, first grows in stunning tree fields in Asia.

No wonder that traveling is one of the best forms of recreation – even looking at these pictures takes

your mind to far away places… And yes, all those of these photos are real!
